Loop Community

Are you a smaller church that has a difficult time staffing your band from week to week? Do you ever wish you could have a bigger sound than what you are getting out on your present band set-up? Are you every asked to lead worship where musicians were hard to come by? If you answered yes to any of these questions, I want to introduce you to Loopcommunity.com.

I am often asked to lead worship for large prayer gatherings and other venues where it's really heard to get musicians at help out. With our schedule here, anything out the ordinary is tough for us. We are an all volunteer team. We have some of the most talented musicians in town but they have lives outside of church.

I stumbled onto loopcommunity.com a few months ago and and was amazed at the amount and quality of the loops and tracks available for worship. In most cases there are a number of versions and arrangements for each song. As a worship leader who leads with an acoustic guitar, I felt I had found the mother load. All you need to have a awesome band is a computer and the right software. I opted for Ableton Live. Works great and is pretty easy to get around on for the novice.

Even though we have a full band here, there are some tracks that I use to help fill things up.
