A drama about the Bible and busyness

Director's Notes:
This is a very easy drama to perform as there is only one line. This sketch is similar to the 'Noize' drama and talks about how God's Word calls out to us to spend time in studying it. In the 'Noize' drama, the guy had to get quiet to hear God speak to him. In this drama, the 3 people need to stop being so busy that they can hear God.
Most every Christian agrees that daily Bible study is essential to building a better relationship with the Lord. Even if you believe that, perhaps you are like me. If you don't schedule a particular time of day of reading God's Word, you will most likely not do it. There are soooo many distractions that we must make sure study is a priority in our lives.

Here's how the drama works. There are 3 people. The first will enter from stage right and walk to stage left. When he gets off the stage, person 2 walks in from stage left and goes stage right. Then when they are off the stage, person 3 enters from stage right and goes stage left and it starts over again with person 1 coming in stage left. And so on...

If you have a screen to put words up, I've included these in parenthesis and each should fade in when the actor "hears" the Bible talking to them and fade out when the actor leaves the stage. Also, a bit of fun music is a must.

Mom: (Walks in stage right with an even bigger basket of cloths. When she reaches the Bible. She looks around like she heard something ("Pretty important stuff."). She shrugs and continues walking, until she is off stage left).

Kid: (Walks in stage left talking (silently) on a portable phone. When she reaches the Bible. She looks around like she heard something ("Really. Life changing stuff.') She shrugs and continues walking, and talking on the phone until she is off stage right).

(Everyone now walks in at the same time from their respective sides...)

Dad: (Walks in stage right with golf clubs over his shoulder and stops at the Bible...)
