Do you hate to hear a perpetual cheerful person that never appears to have a bad day their whole life? When asked how they are, they respond “I’m blessed!” Just kind of makes you want to puke, doesn’t it? I don’t know where they buy their breakfast cereal, but I need to start shopping there. In contrast are the gloom and doom brothers and sisters. There response is likely, “God must not care about me, I’m not important enough for Him to hear my prayers.” In case you haven’t figured it out, the trust and the hope in God isn’t about your strength, it’s by the power of the Holy Spirit. Remember, He made us and He knows every thought before we think it. You don’t have to do this thing called life on your own. You have your own personal trainer, the Holy Spirit! He’ll encourage you, admonish you to do better, and support you every hard step of the way. Some of those stairs you’ll fly up, and some you’ll crawl, but He won’t leave you while He goes on break.

Romans 15:13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
