If you can’t think of any reason to fall to your knees before Christ, this verse should make you want to jump for joy, dance a jig, and fall to your knees to gratefully thank the One who made it possible to eradicate your sins. Strange thing, I haven’t seen anybody do that…. ever. Not in one church service can I ever recall seeing a Christian react that way to having his sins forgiven. It reminds me of the times when I have searched for the perfect gift for someone I know. I like to pride myself on being aware of what the people I love would like. When I find something that I think that will be just what they want, I quickly purchase it and take the time to wrap it in eye-catching paper with a coordinating bow and pen the right words in a card that I think will touch them. On the few occasions when the recipient doesn’t show much appreciation, it really hurts. Imagine how Jesus feels when we treat His death on the Cross as if it were something nice, but nothing to show much emotion about?

Romans 8:1-2 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.”
