Consider a scale - on one side you have your worries wrapped in prayer and laid at the feet of Jesus. On the other side you have all your anxiety ravished by your attempts to control your destiny. It’s a no-brainer to realize which decision we should make. How often we rob ourselves and those around us of all joy by being consumed with the cares of this life. He has promised to give us his peace for our worry, not to put more on us than we can bear, and to always be by our side in every situation. What makes us short-change God? Me, with my finite human reasoning, am no more capable of changing one minute by refusing to let my Father have control - what a joke we live our lives by. Help us to give it all to You, Lord, and wait with thanksgiving for the answers.

No Worries
Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
