Don’t you love little children and their spontaneity when it comes to emotions? Now that we have teenagers, I miss those days of unrestrained hugs and kisses and “I love you’s”. Maybe that’s what makes Mother’s Day and my birthday so special now. For one day I hear all the wonderful things that I’ve missed too often during the year. I hear how much I’m appreciated and how special I’ve been in their life. I think God wants us to celebrate Father’s Day with him everyday. He doesn’t want to just hear once or twice a year how special he is, he wants to hear us say it all the time. The Bible tells us that He is a jealous God, and though we don’t intentionally do it, are we guilty of making Him second best? Try thanking Him daily for all He is doing in your life and tell Him how much you appreciate his loving kindness.

All The Time
Psalm 149:3, 4 “Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp. For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with salvation.”
