Apply for This Job High School Pastor Heights Church Prescott, AZ Posted: February 06, 2019     Job Information: Position Summary The High School Pastor is responsible to develop impactful ministry to student s and their families. He will develop systems and structures, in alignment with the church's mission and vision that leads students to encounter Jesus, engage in their faith with Jesus, and be empowered in their gits to serve Jesus through serving others. He will develop and empower a team of volunteers who will lead and serve students, as they live out their faith. Duties and Responsibilities > Plan and execute large group worship experience - Prepare and deliver large group teaching / communication in an engaging and compelling manner, or develop and coach others to do so - Ensure worship experience includes quality music / worship team - Provide students with a manner in which to respond to teaching / engage with their faith as a result of the large group experience > Plan and execute small group gatherings - Recruit, train, develop and oversee Small Group Leaders - Manage locations and hosts - Oversee assignment of students to appropriate small groups > Recruit, develop, train and oversee Youth Leadership Team, giving them the opportunity to be empowered to serve their peers in a meaningful and impactful manner > Recruit, train, care for and equip adult volunteers to walk alongside Students as they grow in the relationship with Jesus > Plan and implement events for students (i.e. outreach events, social events, baptism class) > Communicate effectively with students, parents, volunteers and staff, via email, phone or in person > Oversee the Youth Staff including Support Staff and possible Interns and/or Residents > Partner with Parents and families as they raise their students to be godly adults including providing regular parent gathering and other support > Meet students where they are and build relationships with them through school lunches, attending school and athletic events > Develop, oversee and manage an annual calendar, budget, goals and objectives > Build strong relationships with other Youth pastors and ministry leaders in the area > Participate in and support other events, meetings and/or activities as required for Staff Members To be considered, forward your resume along with a statement of your philosophy of ministry, to Beth Daniels at jobs@heightschurch.com.
