Apply for This Job Worship Pastor Green Bay Community Church Green Bay, WI Posted: May 09, 2024     Job Information: Green Bay Community Church is seeking candidates for the position of Worship Pastor. Candidates must possess the leadership, knowledge and experience required for the position and embrace and support Green Bay Community Church and its ministry. The Worship Pastor must feel called to this position as they are entrusted with fostering a vibrant worship culture, particularly in music. As the Worship Pastor, this position will lead, coach and train the Worship Team consisting of mainly volunteers. They will collaborate closely with the Arts Team and Lead Pastor to craft compelling weekend services and special events, while assembling and empowering teams of volunteers. Central to this responsibility is the promotion of a passion for worship within the team as well as the broader church community. The Worship Pastor is expected to possess strong leadership skills in worship and to actively mentor and cultivate emerging worship leaders. Ministry Specific Responsibilities · Lead Sunday worship 2 or more times per month and ensure that other worship events are led by qualified leaders. · Use Planning Center Online to schedule worship team and band members; keep database updated and current. · Select songs for Sunday worship, collaborating with the Arts Team.
