Apply for This Job Bethel Learning Center Director Bethel Church of Midland Midland, NC Posted: April 16, 2024     Job Information: Overview: Bethel Church of Midland is looking for a Director for the Bethel Learning Center. The Director is tasked with overseeing a preschool program and a K - 8 tutoring program designed to partner with homeschool families to provided academic instruction. This is a full-time, year round position. A Bachelor's Degree and teaching experience are required for this position. Experience in Administration is preferred as well as experience with Quickbooks, Excel, Canva and Microsoft Office. The Director will be expected to exhibit Christian values in speech and actions with staff, children an parents. A more detailed Job Description is available, however job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to Maintain student data base and ensure data integrity. Process admission and placement of new students. Compile and produce documents and reports to be audited quarterly. Receive, post and deposit tuition payments. Develop the budget by working with staff to assess their needs. Use cost effective solutions to build the program. Ensure a qualified teaching staff for parents and students by conducting a rigorous interview and hiring process as well as staff evaluations throughout the year. Promote students' development in essential educational and behavioral by using age appropriate and Bible base curriculums. Plan large-scale events such as end of year graduation ceremony, family night, book fair and other special events. Oversee the day-to-day activities of the preschool and tutoring program. Assist in developing lesson plans focused on age and level-appropriate material. Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order in the classroom as well as large group gatherings, lunch and recess time.
