Apply for This Job Associate Worship Pastor First Baptist Church of Pinehurst West End, NC Posted: April 02, 2024     Job Information: ASSOCIATE WORSHIP PASTOR (Revised description) Reports to: Senior Pastor Schedule: Full-time position SUMMARY: We are a loving, Christ-centered, biblically based Church in the Sandhills region of North Carolina. We also are a vibrant, growing Church with an exciting future ahead of us. We are expanding our campus and looking for the right candidate to bring their musical talents and passion for evangelism to partner with us in ministry. We are looking for a spiritually mature, biblically grounded, musically gifted worship leader. This person is looking for an opportunity to use their musical gifts and passion for the Lord to help people of all ages to offer their praise and honor to God through music. This person will have a heart for the lost and seek avenues to use music to reach people through our various ministries. They will be a seasoned musician and vocalist who can provide mature spiritual leadership and discipleship to music ministry and audio/visual volunteers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the praise team and choir – contemporary music and traditional hymns Plan and coordinate all music, media, and stage requirements with vocalists, musicians, and media technicians – this role is responsible for the readiness of all creative elements used in the service Communicate consistently and routinely with all worship groups to ensure coordination of all activities in the worship service Present a worship flow plan for upcoming services at weekly staff meetings and work through the planning of each service with other ministerial staff employees Recruit new praise team members, choir members, musicians, and technical support volunteers and work with them to enhance their skill levels Supervise church pianist activities and provide instruction, support, and direction within the guidelines of the pianist's job description Oversee the maintenance, updating, and security of all musical equipment and software licensing Work with Senior Pastor to determine annual budget needs for the music program Lead the worship and technical related activities necessary for all types of special services Assist with Church member visits, as well as attending and participating in funerals and other ministries as directed by the Senior Pastor Train all new audio/visual media booth volunteers Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS Seminary degree is preferred Must be ordained or willing to be ordained Must be in agreement and observance of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 Must be a skilled musician and vocalist Must have experience in leading worship services, praise teams, and sanctuary choir Must be creative, a self-starter, energetic, and have a passion for music and the Lord Must be a team player with a positive attitude Must have good interpersonal and leadership skills Must have strong communication and organizational skills Must be skilled in the use of technology used in worship including sound, lighting, computers, presentation software, and video projection Must be proficient in presentation software such as power point as well as other types of software programs such as Excel and Word (or Mac equivalents) Send resume to: personnel@fbcpinehurst.com View Church website at: fbcpinehurst.com Visit Facebook page at:https://www.facebook.com/firstbaptistpinehurst/     Position Information: Position Title: Associate Worship Pastor Time: Full Time Category: Worship Leader, Music Minister, Worship Pastor Salary: Denomination: Baptist - SBC Worship Style: Blended Church Size: 250 - 500   Contact Information: Organization Name: First Baptist Church of Pinehurst Address1: 7373 NC-211 Address2: City: West End State or Province: NC ZIP Code: 27376 Country: USA Map this Organization: Map Contact Email: Contact this Organization   Pastorless Churches				Post a Job
