St. Luke's non-denominational church is small but loving and active church which is seeking a full-time pastor. The church is just north of Burlington NC. We have a membership of about 75, with a current average attendance of 50 to 55. Our church disaffiliated from the UMC organization and became non-denominational in January of 2023. We offer the following benefits for employment: -An office within the church facility for pastoral studies. -Compensation package of $ 50,000 to $ 75,000 based on experience. (pastor's discretion on how the salary is allocated.)
Job Description: (requirements) -Live a Godly life that embodies the principles and instructions given in 1st Timothy 3: 1-7, Titus 1: 5-9 & 1st Peter 5: 1-4. -Have a heart for this lost & dying world. -All decisions should be approached in prayer. -Be responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. -Responsible for sound doctrine and a heart filled with love for the people of God. -Willing to disciple new Christians. -The pastor should be ordained. -Completion of undergraduate or graduate seminary training. -Experience of leading a church. -Must also agree to adhere to the church's established bylaws outlined in Article IV – pastor pages 21 & 22. A copy of our Constitution & Bylaws is available upon request.
