Apply for This Job Youth Pastor Bethel E Baptist Elberton, GA Posted: September 29, 2022     Job Information: Youth/Student Pastor Bethel E Baptist is looking for a self-motivated Student Pastor who has accepted the call of God into ministry, having a heart for youth. We would like for this person to: Introduce young people to Christ Disciple them in spiritual growth Train them in serving Christ with their life Assist parents or guardians in raising their teenagers to a wholesome maturity Oversee and support the activity entrusted to leadership of the youth program. Responsibilities: Creating and executing Christ-like vision for student ministry program at Bethel E Baptist Church. Prepare and teach Sunday School and Wednesday night meetings for middle school and high school students. Plan student ministry opportunities such as youth camps and mission trips. Recruit volunteers to assist in student ministry activities. Plan and participate in day and weekend trips to build student ministry. Engage students in activities outside of Church such as attending high school and middle school athletic and academic events to show support and build relationships. Engaging teacher, with a strong biblical background, who is in agreement with Baptist Faith and Message. Manage student ministry budget and perform fundraisers as necessary to assist with trips and other financial needs of the student ministry program. Provide monthly student report to Deacon board. Maintain contact with students and parents and manage any necessary forms and paperwork involved in student ministry. Communicate effectively with student, parents and the Church. Provide leadership within the student ministry that demonstrates Christ-like behavior and build relationships based on trust and respect. Participate as needed in the overall ministry of Bethel E Baptist Church. Expectations: Authentic relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Gifted and called to Student ministry Passionate for evangelism and Student outreach Patient, kind and positive when interacting with youth Exceptional organizational and planning skills Love and respect for people. Ability to organize, coordinate. A positive attitude. Strong team player with the rest of the staff and congregation. Dependable, responsible, self-motivated and creative.
