Our Objective:
Evangel Baptist Church is seeking the man of God's choosing to serve as Lead Pastor whose role is to lead the congregation and community to follow Christ in all aspects of our life.

Our Candidate:
We are looking for a pastor whose life and ministry establishes a biblical example of servant leadership. He should be mature in faith, experienced in life, and confident to lead others with humility and firmness in purpose, always pointing others to Christ and the mission of the church. He will be a man of the Word and prayer who leads with integrity in all areas of life including family life, stewardship of finances, and personal development.

General Responsibilities
1) He will provide leadership and accountability as he works together with the Board of Elders, the Ministry Staff, and Leadership Council, to carry out the purpose and mission of the church.
2) He will be responsible for the pulpit ministry including preparing and preaching biblical messages, and planning, preparation and administration of weekly services.
3) He will oversee the administration of church ordinances and officiate weddings and funerals.
4) He will provide spiritual oversight of all church matters and ministries in coordination with the Elders.
5) He will oversee and be responsible for pastoral care.
6) He will be available to provide spiritual and biblical counsel
