Chinese Community Church, RCA Sacramento, CA Posted: June 20, 2020
Job Information:
The Chinese Community Church (CCC), 5600 Gilgunn Way, Sacramento, California 95822, has an immediate opening for a full-time pastor position.
CCC, founded in the early 1920s, is located at the intersection of Fruitridge Road and Gilgunn Way. Our congregation consists of all ages ranging from young families with children, to seniors in their 90s. Our mission is to better experience and share God's love with all nationalities and we do that through our multi-ethnic congregation. Our campus grounds include a 150-person capacity sanctuary with adjoining educational rooms, a full commercial kitchen, and an indoor 3/4-size basketball facility that also serves as our fellowship hall. Our former Pastor retired in early Fall of 2019, and had been with us for 10 years. In many of his sermons, he commented that his CCC experience was by far the best in his 32-plus years in ministry.
CCC is looking for a pastor that can effectively convey God's word to children, young adults, married couples, and seniors. The successful candidate should have Biblical and theological insights and teaching knowledge, along with preaching skills to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Word of God in a practical way effectively connecting life's experiences and Biblical truths along with pastoral care consisting of counseling, working with individuals, married couples, and families.
