Position Status: Salaried, Full Time (Exempt) Responsible To: Senior Pastor/Staff Relations Committee Number of Families: 257 Desired Outcomes: Build a cohesive division of family ministries Develop a comprehensive adult, youth and children's ministry Provide leadership and vision for the future of family ministry Develop a family worship model for 11:00 AM service Qualifications: BA degree or equivalent life experience Able to demonstrate and explain new life in Christ Two-three years of direct leadership experience (full or part-time) Demonstrated leadership and small-group facilitation skills Core Competencies Knows the Bible and is able to relate biblical content to everyday life; Christ-centered Demonstrates the ability to organize and implement ministry Leads individuals to complete a task within a desired time period Demonstrates the ability to delegate tasks and decisions Promotes shared ownership of program direction, responsibility and accountability Exhibits emotional maturity, high energy level and flexibility Manages conflict by reading situations quickly and settling disputes equitably Develops wholesome interpersonal relationships with various age groups Builds trust and demonstrates integrity Motivates people to do their best Salary, benefits, and more detailed position description available upon request by calling 765-348-2801 or emailing graceumchc@gmail.com.
