Do you love the Church and Her mission? If so, this may be the right position for you. Rolling Hills is looking for a full time Senior Accountant to join our team. We are looking for a mission driven CPA, preferably with church or ministry experience (but not required). The applicant must be a committed follower of Christ, active in his or her faith, and willing to become part of our church family. OBJECTIVE The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing and completing various accounting tasks as assigned by the Central Chief Financial Officer. GIFT/SKILL SET Full Scope Accounting Administration Organization Attention To Detail Thorough Task Oriented Accuracy Problem Solver Time Management Self-Motivated Intermediate to Advanced Excel Steadfast/Diligent EXPECTATIONS - Live an exemplary life modeling the call, character, and competencies of a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. - Be a servant leader to his or her staff and teams of volunteers, the families and the overall church body. - Grow personally in his/her own leadership and ministerial abilities by reading, attending conferences and having godly and professional mentors in his/her life. - Be involved in the overall life of the church body by being a partner/member, actively participating in a community group, church-wide events, and functions. - Be an excited and contributing member of the RHCC staff team RESPONSIBILITIES - Timely month end close process for Church, Leases, Learning Center, and Community Center. - Oversee production of accurate and timely weekly and month end report packages. - Bank account management including transfers and reconciliations. - Oversee Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate and on-time payments. This would include overseeing AP personnel as well as inputting and paying invoices as needed. - Oversee church contributions recording and daily/weekly bank deposits, making certain donor gifts are appropriately and accurately recorded to their account. - Review and approve all credit card charges and coaching cardholders on any corrections needed. -Assist with bank, credit card, and account reconciliations. - Assist with monthly Lease, Learning Center, and Community Center invoicing and recordkeeping. - Assist with year-end donor contribution statements and preparation of Forms 1099. - Filing, storage, and security of financial documents. - Oversee and assist with cash handling and counting. - Assist our tax accountant with quarterly tax returns. - Additional responsibilities as determined by the CFO.     Position Information: Position Title: Senior Accountant Time: Full Time Category: Business/Administration Salary: Denomination: Baptist - SBC Worship Style: Contemporary Church Size: 2000 - 5000   Contact Information: Organization Name: Rolling Hills Community Church Address1: 1810 Columbia Avenue Address2: Suite 100 City: Franklin State or Province: TN ZIP Code: 37064 Country: USA Map this Organization: Map Contact Email: Contact this Organization   Pastorless Churches				Post a Job
