Apply for This Job Creative Arts Pastor/Worship Pastor Maple City Chapel Goshen, IN Posted: August 15, 2018     Job Information: JOB DESCRIPTION: Creative Arts Pastor/Worship Pastor  To facilitate a contemporary worship experience that connects people to God and God's mission RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership to the Worship Team o Maintain a personal, growing relationship with Jesus and mentor those involved on the worship team to do the same o Build the necessary teams to produce worship that brings people into the presence of God o Direct all weekly activities and rehearsals necessary to facilitate exceptional worship o Oversee the production of weekend services in consultation with the lead pastor o Coordinate the theme of the sermon with the musical and technical aspects of the service o Oversee song selection, media preparation and presentation, sound and lighting enhancements, and coordination of all instrumentalists, vocalists, and dramatists o Provide pastoral care for the worship and tech team members o Oversee the worship department budget, organization, and volunteers o Be a scout for future musicians so there is always a replacement in mind or another team for a new service or site o Knowledge in Audio, Video, Lighting equipment is preferred Attend meetings that facilitate responsibilities o Attend weekly staff meetings o Attend Bi-weekly Executive Team Meetings o Lead weekly worship planning meeting o Lead weekly worship practice EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION: This is a full time, salaried position that reports directly to the Lead Pastor Compensation includes a base salary with a 20% "benefit" to be used at employee's discretion (health inc, retirement, etc.). Salary negotiable based on experience.
