Apply for This Job Director of Worship and Creative Arts Family Life Church Vestal, NY Posted: August 14, 2018     Job Information: Director of Worship and Creative Arts Non-Denominational Church Upstate New York Current Church Size/ 225-260 Single or married, children or not, if you are a part of God's Kingdom, Family Life Church can be a place where you can glorify God, grow together and give to others. As a church, we are praying that the Holy Spirit will lead the right Christ-follower to take our Worship and Creative Arts ministry to deeper places in Him. We are looking for someone to build upon a team of committed vocal and instrumental gifts that are currently serving, as well as prayerfully identify, recruit and empower others to get ‘into the flow.' We aren't looking for Chris Tomlin, Hezekiah Walker, Kari Jobe or Israel Houghton. We're looking for YOU and God's gift in you to bring Spirit led worship, to a congregation that is diverse in many ways. Our next Director of Worship and Creative Arts will have the opportunity to be a part of the development and expansion of our technical capacities while at the same time have the honor and privilege of discipling team members. (And, in case you are wondering, our awesome existing Director has been in his position since the church was pioneered in 2011. Because of God's blessings on his life, his expanding business and family responsibilities makes this change God's next step for us all.) So, if you: have a passionate and growing personal walk with Jesus Christ, have received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, have a personal testimony of victory in your health, finances and relationships, have prior volunteer or professional experience as a worship leader or assistant, have a desire to be a part of a growing church family and believe intimacy with Him requires worship, and, if you have proficient instrumental skills on the guitar or keyboard have excellent vocal skills and experience in leading a worship team have the technical ability to work with ProPresenter, Planning Center, Song Select and similar programs and teach team members to use the same as needed, have a working knowledge of soundboard systems and function, have people that you work and serve with now that will be sad to lose you but happy to see your gift expanding, then you, may be ready to receive a generous compensation package (salary, housing, medical insurance), commensurate for the current and expected growth of our church family in the years ahead, may be ready to help us disciple and train the current and next generation in the love of God. may be ready to see God's gift in you stretched and expanded may be the right one to be our next, full-time, Director of Worship and Creative Arts.
