Job Information:
The Worship Leader is responsible for overseeing and providing leadership for a high quality, gospel-centered, worship ministry including the leading of all worship services.
Lead all worship services and rehearsals to prepare for these services Lead in creating and implementing new worship opportunities which align with the mission and vision at NSUMC, as needed Lead worship at all special events including but not limited to: Youth and/or Children's Wednesday worship (as needed), Multi-Church events, Lock-ins, Retreats, Camp event, Christmas Eve services, Easter services, and Outdoor worship Coordinate with the Pastor to create and lead well-planned and engaging Sunday worship service(s) Proficiency to lead worship both vocally and with a guitar and/or keyboard Recruit, Train and supervise technology teams and organize technology support for all worship services, as needed Facilitate the completion of the weekly visuals for Sunday services and Wednesday night worship services, as needed Assist the pastor with overall production elements of worship services Develop and administer an annual budget for the worship ministry within specified budget limitations, upon consultation
