Apply for This Job Worship Pastor Pflugerville Community Church Pflugerville, TX Posted: July 10, 2018     Job Information: Called Pflugerville Community Church is seeking someone called to the ministry of leading God's people in worship in the context of the local church. This is not a performance position; it is a ministry of leading a congregation in praising God together. Candidates should be able to express that call, point to experience that supports that call, and produce references that confirm that call. Spiritually Mature The worship leader must have an authentic, personal, growing walk with the Lord. That means practicing spiritual disciplines & living a humble, beyond reproach Christ-honoring life. The worship leader must exemplify a love for Christ that is evident in corporate worship and in a daily life worthy of the calling (Eph. 4:1). Skilled The worship leader must be able to lead & shepherd the worship team. This includes communicating song choices, rehearsing the team, & caring about team members. It includes auditioning potential new team members. It means building unity & genuine fellowship on the team. The worship leader must be able to lead worship solo. That means leading Sunday worship alone with a guitar or keyboard that is engaging & inspiring. The worship leader will work with the senior pastor & PCC staff in planning worship services & special events such as Communion services, Christmas Eve service, & Easter worship events.
