Apply for This Job Pastor Bethlehem Methodist Church Advance , NC Posted: April 24, 2025     Job Information: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastor to shepherd our congregation, fostering spiritual growth and community engagement. This role will involve leading worship services, preaching, teaching, providing pastoral care, and collaborating with church leadership to advance our mission. Responsibilities: 1. Lead Sunday and special worship services, including sermon preparation and delivery. 2. Provide pastoral care including but not limited to counseling as well as hospital and senior visitation. 3. Collaborate with church leadership to develop ministry programs that meet the needs of our congregation and equip people for His service. 4. Attend Administrative Board Meetings. 5. Represent the church in the community and build relationships with local organizations. 6. Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day ministry of the congregation and administration of the church--providing guidance and support to church staff and volunteers. 7. Encourage spiritual growth and discipleship within the congregation. 8. Identify areas for church membership growth.
