Responsibilities
Leadership Team Work closely with the Lead Pastor to ensure expression of vision, mission and core values through Sunday morning environment, ministry areas and ministry events. Collaborate with pastoral team as necessary in staff meetings and direct-reports for the purpose of expressing the overall direction established by OBC leadership. Recruit, train and lead leadership team(s) to assist with all ministry goals. Attend and support expression of vision, mission and core values in monthly Elder/Leadership meeting. Attend and support expression of vision, mission and core values in yearly Leadership Team meeting. Attend and support expression of vision, mission and core values in annual Sermon/Series planning. Youth Establish and execute a vision for youth ministry at Olive Branch that meets youth where they are, invites them into a relationship with Christ, and helps them grow in their faith. Build relationships with youth for the purpose of helping them: Look to Jesus. Live like Jesus. Love like Jesus. Recruit, train and lead a team of volunteers and student leaders for the purpose of helping lead an effective youth ministry. An effective youth ministry helps kids discover life through saying yes to Jesus and living that yes by taking steps of faith. Communicate with youth/parents so they stay informed. Maintain a weekly work schedule of 40 hours for the purpose of accomplishing the overall vision for youth ministry. General
Share sermons as needed in adult worship environment. Provide ongoing support for additional ministry projects/items as needed. Employment Information
