The goal of Family Ministries at TBC is to assist children, youth, and families in ways that strengthen and deepen our relationship with Christ. In order to accomplish this most faithfully and effectively, our guiding principles include:

Primary duties of the Children, Youth, and Family Ministries Position include but are not limited to: Plan, organize and serve as the Director of Family Ministries, Create new programming and support for parents of children and youth, Oversee every aspect of ministry with children, youth, and families.
This position will oversee all aspects of our current ministry to children (nursery thru 6th grade), youth (grades 7th-12th), and family groups. This position will lead TBC in developing a family a family ministry model. Approximately 15 children are ministered on Sundays and 50 on Wednesdays. Our summer camp had 120 children in attendance. Growth in faith opportunities and ministered audience is a key objective for this position.
The perfect candidate will have a love of Jesus and kids of all ages. Practical ministry experience as a volunteer or staff member. An excellent communicator, organized, a good administrator, missional, relational, high energy, self-motivated, and with an excellent ability to recruit and motivate volunteers. In addition, candidate should be familiar with current rends and best practices as they relate to children and family ministries.
