A primary objective for this position is to lead consistent, high-quality children's programming each weekend and model the love of Jesus to each child. To accomplish this, the Children's Ministry Director will need to demonstrate the following: Ability to build and maintain committed teams of leaders and volunteers. High-energy personality and an approach that creates a dynamic environment to engage children and volunteers. As the Children's Ministry Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing the Sunday morning children's experience and all necessary volunteers. You will also be in charge of planning, preparing, and implementing our VBS and children's Christmas program. The desire for relationships with children and families by planning occasional extra activities during the year that build relationships with children and parents. Organized and efficient, especially with time management. Choose, edit, and implement nursery, pre-k, and 1st – 5th grade curriculum. An excellent communicator, both orally and written. A multi-tasking team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
