Apply for This Job Campus Pastor Pathway Church Beaver Falls, PA Posted: May 26, 2023     Job Information: Pastor's Role The Campus Pastor serves as the lead pastor and the "face" of Pathway Church at the Moon Campus. He is a high-capacity leader who builds teams to ensure the success of the local campus. Success is defined as a growing ministry that fulfills the vision of Pathway Church by being and making disciples of Jesus Christ — worshiping, growing and serving. The pastor will work to equip God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ will mature spiritually (Ephesians 4:11-13). The ministry of equipping is primarily a ministry of the Word, of prayer, and of modeling the Christian life (Acts 6:4; 1 Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). The ministry of equipping is also a ministry of leadership (Hebrews 13:7,17) and management/oversight (Acts 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:7) of the church's ministries, resources, and spiritual life. Personal Qualifications Catalytic Leader: Is high energy and a self-starter. Gets things done and makes things happen. Team Builder: Can recruit and develop teams of people to fulfill the mission of Pathway Church. Buy-In: Knows Pathway's ministry philosophy and fully embraces and supports it. Conflict Resolver: Unafraid to tackle interpersonal conflict, ministry misalignment or sin issues. Learner: Is a motivated learner who welcomes opportunities to grow. Time Manager: Is intrinsically motivated and organizes responsibilities in an effective manner. Person of Integrity: Makes wise decisions based on biblical values. Self-Aware: Knows personal strengths and weaknesses and manages both well. Growing Disciple: Fully devoted to following Jesus in all areas of life. Membership: Willing to be a member of Pathway Church. Education: Master of Divinity preferred. Experience: Pastoral ministry experience, preferably in multi-campus setting. Responsibilities Leadership Team Oversight: Oversee the team of campus ministry leads (Worship, Children's, Students, First Impressions, etc.). Campus team leads report directly to the Campus Pastor and work closely with their counterparts at the Chippewa Campus. Small-Group Ministry: Lead the campus small-group ministry by coaching leaders, facilitating placement of individuals into small groups and working to assimilate newcomers into the church family. Campus Connection Events: Develop a team to carry out Moon Campus events on a regular basis. Sunday Morning Leadership: Manage Sunday services and operations, including oversight of set-up and tear-down teams. Connect relationally with the congregation and leadership, and provide energetic up-front leadership and communication. Preach occasionally. Leadership Development: Develop disciples and leaders. Ministry Development and Alignment: Ensure that campus-specific ministries are developed and that leaders are equipped, resourced and fully aligned with the Pathway ministry philosophy. Also, participate on a regular basis with the overall staff team. Budget: Manage the Moon budget.
