Apply for This Job Youth Ministry Resident Peninsula Bible Church Palo Alto, CA Posted: May 22, 2023     Job Information: The Youth Ministry Resident will work closely with the Youth Pastor to learn and seek God's direction for ministering to students in Palo Alto and the surrounding areas. The Youth Ministry Resident will report directly to the Youth Pastor and will assist in planning and leading youth group activities. The Youth Ministry Resident position also requires participation in our Leadership Institute which includes a few hours of ministry training a week (within the 40 hours per week) and has the possibility of including housing. This position is intended to be a one-year term of employment (with an option to extend to two years). There is also flexibility to adjust this role to a part-time position if needed. Responsibilities Provide regular, focused communication to students, parents, and leaders consistent with other communication practices at PBC. Help plan, coordinate, and manage registrations for events and trips, including: Monthly Special events Winter & Summer Camp (Hume Lake) Special Events Attend weekly youth ministry team meetings Attend and assist with volunteer leadership training and "check-ins" Help lead, coordinate, and conduct digital and in-person youth ministry meetings including: Schedule teachers & worship leaders as necessary Lead/co-lead a small group Bible study for students As requested, host, lead games, and teach at youth ministry meetings and understand all aspects of the schedule/agenda Purchase (to be reimbursed) and pick up necessary resources for programming and/or events Mentor and teach biblical truths to students in both formal and informal settings Build intentional relationships with students at their homes, school events, and other informal situations Manage ministry social media accounts including: Weekly Devos Midweek and Sunday reminders Event highlight posts Occasional lifting of 20 pounds required for events and set up Rate of Pay & Hours Hours: Part-Time (40 Hours/Week) Compensation: $2,500 stipend/month plus benefits and a potential option for housing consistent with all applicable laws.    Position Information: Position Title: Youth Ministry Resident Time: Full Time Category: Youth Pastor & Youth Ministry Salary: Denomination: Non-Denominational Worship Style: Contemporary Church Size: 750 - 1000   Contact Information: Organization Name: Peninsula Bible Church Address1: 3505 Middlefield Rd Address2: City: Palo Alto State or Province: CA ZIP Code: 94306 Country: USA Map this Organization: Map Contact Email: Contact this Organization   Pastorless Churches				Post a Job
