Apply for This Job Pastor Alamosa Christian Church Alamosa, CO Posted: May 21, 2023     Job Information: Alamosa Christian Church is looking for a full time pastor to lead us into God's best for the future. We are currently at Sunday attendance averaging 30-45 in person, but have a desire to grow and better impact our community in Christ. Alamosa is a culturally diverse community of around 10,000, with a full hospital, university, community college, and many outdoor recreation opportunities in the San Luis Valley and the surrounding mountains. Alamosa is the main hub in the valley, within easy access distance to Rio Grande National Forest and two mountain ranges. This community is located within 2 to 3 hours of the bigger cities of Pueblo and Colorado Springs to the north, and Santa Fe and Albuquerque to the south. The children's programming is dynamic, and we recently remodeled to have a more conducive space for teaching the gospel to our young ones. The annual salary range for this position is approximately $60,000 per year, with liberal time off for vacation, and training seminars. This is the perfect place for someone who loves the outdoors, a sense of community, and opportunities to grow. You may be that person! We are looking for a Bible-believing, God-fearing pastor who is willing to lead, love, and preach with good speaking abilities. We seek an energetic leader that is structured, organized, and interested in a more contemporary service. This person must have a vision for the church with both short-term and long-term goals. We seek to be grounded in the scriptures as they were understood by the early Christian church, rather than movements or philosophies appearing centuries later.
