TITLE: CHURCH BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR REPORTS TO: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Full time/Exempt/Salaried
PURPOSE: The Church Business Administrator is responsible for the business affairs of the church which includes directing the Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Facilities operations to accomplish the mission of Christian Life Center.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: The Church Business Administrator is directly accountable for following all official and functional procedures and policies of Christian Life Center and is expected to engage in cooperative actions and relationships with the staff and congregation. On occasion, you may not agree with the philosophy or procedure used, but loyalty and support of the Lead Pastor and the rest of the staff is essential.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the teams of I.T., Finance, HR, and Facilities to encourage unity and internal support of the ministry teams, while keeping the systems fiscally responsible. Ensure that the systems used by the operations teams align with best practices and legal responsibilities of the church in each of the respective areas. Together with your team, ensure good stewardship of CLC's financial, human, technological and physical assets. Represent the church in legal and financial matters. Responsible for maintaining a high-level of accountability and trust with our business partners, community, and congregation by practicing excellence in business ethics. Forecast expansion costs and propose capital sources. Preform any other duties as requested by the Lead Pastor.
