Apply for This Job Care Director Southridge Church Kalamazoo, Not S Posted: January 20, 2022     Job Information: At Southridge Church, care ministry is not just about setting up a meal train, or sending out prayer requests. Care happens every day, all over the city. As the Care Director, you will be charged with not just coordinating the resources and delivery of care to our congregation, but with building a culture where we seek to be the hands and feet of Christ everywhere we go. If your heart beats like this, then you could be what we are looking for. This is currently a part-time position. However, since we are a fast-growing church, there will be opportunity for growth. A major objective for this position is to meet the needs of people where they are through personal activity. To accomplish this, you will need to demonstrate the following: Oversee the care ministry database to track the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical needs of the church Coordinate and/or personally deliver care for all who are engaged with Southridge Church Provide individual and family support through counseling or visits in office, home, or hospital settings Responsible for maintaining regular contact with our sick, hospitalized, unemployed, shut-ins or struggling members to provide support Regularly pray for and with members of the church Build a relationship with and communicate well with the Elders Be organized and efficient especially with time management Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation Another major objective is to lead the coordination of teams to assist in various aspects of care ministry.
