The dream of Fellowship Raleigh Church was born Summer 2005 while taking a church planting class at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago. From the beginning, the vision has been to plan a dynamic local church in the heart of a strategic city where there is both cultural diversity and a significant college and university presence. Position Description:
Fellowship Raleigh Church seeks a leader who is passionate about making disciples of Jesus by leading congregational worship, building-up, and pastoring the heart of the Worship Ministry for the church. The Worship Pastor position is a full-time role reporting to the Lead Pastor and responsible for overseeing the Worship/Production Ministries, including weekly worship leading in services, service planning, volunteer recruitment and development, and helping lead in other areas of the church as needed (discipleship, outreach, projects, etc).

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
Skillfully and prayerfully shape the worship experience for the congregation on Sundays that is passionate, diverse, expressive, and reverent
Pastorally lead and develop the spiritual life and musical skills of those on the team
Identify, recruit, and develop musicians, vocalists and leaders for worship, production, and other ministries
Maintain worship team schedules (including rehearsal)
Assist in establishing and maintaining Worship/Production budget
Manage equipment necessary for Worship/Production teams
Enhance and expand upon the team's song list and arrangements
Establish set-lists for all services and special events
Maintain compliance with music and video copyright laws and licensing
Lead in other areas of the church as needed (ie: projects, admin, discipleship, outreach, etc). Unique giftings, experience, and needs will determine this

Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years of experience in leading worship preferred
