Apply for This Job Lead Pastor Aurora Hills Church Aurora, CO Posted: January 18, 2021     Job Information: UPFRONT: our church along with many churches have dwindled in attendance due to Covid19 and also for our congregation the retirement of our Senior Pastor. Our average attendance now is around 20 and church membership around 60. Pre-Covid membership around 100 and attendance on Sundays around 65. We can only offer at this time a compensation of $42,000 a year (including all benefits) so actually we may be looking for a "bi-vocational lead pastor until the time our church giving grows to be able to re-negotiate a better compensation. This compensation can be structured whichever way fits our new Pastor and can be negotiated. WHO ARE WE? * Aurora Hills is an autonomous Baptist church that is affiliated with The American Baptist Churches for purposes of fellowship and the fulfilling the great commission." * small but dedicated * wanting to grow both in numbers and in God's word and awareness of world events and what scripture says about the times we live in. *outreach minded going into the public square and engaging in festivals and fairs with free bibles and "truth Tracts" and also pre-covid, Ronald McDonald house, nursing home ministry, and into parks doing a Sunday Service and also praising out Lord with hymns and songs in the park (PRAISE IN THE PARK) *Have Awana program and children's ministry *Small and growing youth ministry and dedicated youth pastor ^ Bible study classes on Sundays and Wednesdays *Corporate prayer meetings twice a month WHAT WE BELIEVE *Inerrancy of scripture as original intent and please see our website (aurorahillschurch.com) for more information and also our Facebook page.
