Unconditional

We normally do not review movies here at EXW but this is one that is definitely worth mentioning. I am a big movie buff who loves everything from romance to Rambo. I have seen a ton of movies over the past 40 years. Love the epics like "Lord of the Rings" and "Last of the Mohicans". The only movies I do not care for are cheesy low budget films. Especially ones put out by Christian organizations. I love the heart behind the movies but the quality tends to lack in too many ways for me to have something nice to say. My belief is if you cannot do something well, don't do it.

Unconditional is a faith based true story that has it all. The storyline is amazing and heartfelt without the "cheese". The acting is as good as you will fine. The cinematography is as good as I have seen. There is nothing in this movie that screams "faith based production" except the wonderful story line.

From start to finish the story moves and builds. Each character develops throughout the movie to the point where you want to be a apart of what is taking place in the film. I found myself wanting to adopt little Keisha and take her home. I was even willing to give one of my kidneys to Papa Joe. There were also a few times when I had to put my sunglasses on to hide the tears through moving scenes.

I do not want to disclose too much of the movie. I am one of those people who turns his head away when the trailers roll because I want to see the whole movie from start to finish. I will go to a movie because of the reputation of the actors or because a friend recommends it not based on a trailer. As a friend in Christ, I would love to recommend this movie to you. You will not be disappointed. This is by far the best faith based movie I have ever seen and really one the best I have seen in a while.
