The Apostle Paul encourages us to find a new level of thinking. Sometimes, as Christians, we become obsessed with the world around us and the sin that is so prevalent that we forget to keep our focus on the good, not the bad. The political scandals of the past few years have seared the depravity of man deep in our minds and we have to make a conscious mental effort to not let the negativity and perverseness become our mindset. People are searching for a light in the darkness, and may God help us to offer a better way through our lives and our conversation. Not an escape from life, but a life-vest.
