Isaiah 58:15 “For this is what the high and lofty One says - he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.”

What gives us the right to be called the children of God, to have access to the God of the Universe, the King of Glory? Stop and think about it, how blessed we are to be saved from destruction, but not just saved, we are the children of God. We’ve not the hired help or the destitute relative seeking shelter, He has made us one of His own. I’m overwhelmed by the magnitude of His Grace, the depth of His Love. He gave His only Son to die for me, I who am dirty and unclean and unworthy to be in His presence, He allowed the blood of His Son to be spilt so that I could be free. The power of amazing grace.
