Summary: We at Faith Fellowship Church in Cincinnati, Ohio are looking for an energetic, engaging, creative person to lead our congregation of 200 as Praise and Worship Pastor. We see this shepherding role as being instrumental in the oversight and development of volunteers, leaders and programs with excellence. We are affiliated with the Conservative Baptist Association. We would prefer a candidate from our geographical area, but accepting applications from anywhere.
Qualifications: - Ability to play guitar and/or piano - Strong vocal skills - Experience as a leader with track record of shepherding and mentoring leaders - Knowledge, experience or oversight of Choir/Ensemble/Drama/musicians - Experience in recruiting volunteers in all areas of the Praise and Worship ministry - Experience in leading worship that transcends modern, contemporary and traditional genres - At least 4-5 years experience, which could include degree time - Strong knowledge of sound systems, operations and troubleshooting - Elder qualified according to 1 Timothy 3 - Strong administrative skills and interpersonal skills Responsibilities: - Working with the Lead Pastor, plan Sunday morning services that support text and applications - Cast vision and provide oversight to all aspects of the Praise and Worship ministry - Recruit and shepherd volunteers in the band, technical and vocal areas - Communicate scriptural concepts in rehearsals and worship - Assess theological soundness of lyrics - Lead by example, organize, rehearse and equip volunteer vocalists and instrumentalists - Direct worship team and band rehearsals as necessary Please send a video link of you leading worship, as well as a resume, etc. The full time position would require other duties.
