WORSHIP/MUSIC DIRECTOR POSITION
Covenant Community Church in Asheville, NC is seeking a full-time Worship/Music Director (influences: Chris Tomlin, David Crowder) for our two contemporary services. This person will be responsible for planning, supervising, and administrating the entire worship experience on Sunday mornings to meet our mission of drawing people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The responsibilities of this position will include visioning with the Lead Pastor, equipping and mentoring the people serving in the worship ministry, creating a system of team building in our worship ministry, and coordinating all aspects of our worship ministry.
Qualifications:
Provide evidence of an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
Display maturity in spiritual disciplines and life skills
Display an awareness of God's call on your life to worship ministry leadership.
Display an ability to mentor and develop leadership and gifts in others.
Display a vision for worship, and be able to express and implement that vision.
Display good organizational, leadership, and team building skills.
Have a bachelor of arts in music or equivalent training and experience which includes vocals and instrumentals.
Responsibilities:
Consult with the Lead Pastor to develop and implement a vision and long range worship plan for our worship ministry.
Oversee all aspects of our worship ministry (including but not limited to team scheduling, rehearsals, planning and implementing Sunday worship, technology, media, stage set up and tear down, drama, etc.)
Work with the youth and children's leadership to create worship opportunities in which youth and children may participate
Offer spiritual mentoring and practical support as well as maintaining a ministry of encouragement to all who serve on our worship ministry team.
Develop and implement a plan for identifying and connecting people into the various aspects of our worship ministry.
Establish standards for worship activities and oversee evaluation against those standards to identify progress in achieving the vision of our worship ministry.
Identify and attend with others, as appropriate, seminars and conferences pertaining to worship ministry.
Develop and plan major seasonal and other special worship events outside the scope of weekly worship services

This is the debut album by EXW friend Paul Langford. Paul is a Chicago based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor. Paul has a career that spans 14 years. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
