Job Description:
Faith Presbyterian Church, on Indianapolis' northeast side, is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a part-time staff person who oversees the music of our contemporary worship service, The Dawn. Candidate must have strong musical background, including vocal talents and the ability to play a musical instrument. Person must have prior experience leading the music of a worship service and prior experience with a worship band is a plus. Position will work closely with the Director of Music for the church, as well as the pastoral staff. Candidate must be able to lead musicians, as well as the overall participation of the congregational members during worship. Position is a part-time staff position that requires approximately 10 hours per week and will begin this calendar year. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
