Basic Requirements:
* Ability to teach and minister to a large multi-generational congregation. * Five years minimum of preaching and teaching of the scriptures from the pulpit. * Minumum of 4 years senior level responsibility either as a Sr. Pastor or a Associate Pastor who leads a ministry division in large church. * Have known reputation for scripturally solid, inspirational sermons. * Mentor/train paid staff and volunteers. * Involved in mentoring men and track record of involvement in men's ministry * Experience in collaborative teaching and leading. * BA degree required, M-Div preferred and PhD helpful. * Prefer candidates who are mid-career who can contribute actively to the ministry for the next 10 years.
Note: This Northwest church is built on biblically-based teaching and mentoring submitted to God as revealed in His Son Jesus and the Scripture. While this position is a leadership position, it is not a "senior pastor" position; but a collaborative/team position in both leadership and teaching. The church style is that of a contemporary evangelical community church which has its heritage in the charismatic movement and the Assemblies of God tradition. This is the debut album by EXW friend Paul Langford. Paul is a Chicago based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor. Paul has a career that spans 14 years. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
