Job Description:
InterVarsity Campus Missionary - Impacting college students for life
Ready for a challenge? InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a national interdenominational parachurch campus ministry, is looking for passionate women and men who have a desire to see college campuses changed for Christ. We are currently hiring for an opening at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.
Kansas State University is a 4-year, 23,000-student state school that draws students primarily from the State of Kansas. InterVarsity has had a historic presence at K-State since the late 1930s. The chapter has recently waned in size due to lack of leadership, but we are now looking for the right candidate to rebuild and replant the chapter.
Successful candidates will have experience working with young adults/college-age students, demonstrated ability to lead teams and small groups, evidence of influence in evangelism and discipleship, personal drive/initiative, and a deep love for Jesus and for the Word of God. Because we are a missionary organization, we are also looking for candidates who live lifestyles of risk and sacrifice.
As a missionary organization, we will provide time-tested and proven training in how to raise your own support. Fortunately, K-State has a large, committed alumni base to support future campus missionaries. In addition, this opening comes with up to $20,000 as a first-year fundraising grant.
