Job Description:
„X Assessing the acoustics of the production / performance area and setting up, testing and operating equipment accordingly; „X Choosing, placing, adjusting and operating technical amplification and recording equipment, such as microphones and cables, bearing both sound and visual requirements in mind; „X Ensuring that health and safety requirements for the recording environment are met; „X Applying technical knowledge of sound recording equipment to create the required artistic effect in a variety of environments; „X Recording sound, for studio or on location, onto digital audio tape or hard disk recorders; „X Monitoring audio signals to detect sound-quality deviations or malfunctions; „X Anticipating and solving problems with sound quality that may arise during a service, etc; „X Building and working closely with the sound team; „X Adding and synchronizing pre-recorded special sound effects into the soundtrack, as required by scripts; „X Servicing, maintaining and repairing sound equipment; „X Responsible for setup/striking at weekend services and worship events; „X Administration (meetings, reports, correspondence, follow-up) „X Volunteer recruitment, leadership and management „X Leads in training and scheduling volunteers „X Special projects (live audio at services and, technical support for weddings, funerals etc.) „X Keeping up-to-date with new and developing sound technologies and equipment. .. Install some Audio Equipment(i.e. esnakes, etc.)

Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
