Job Description:
We are looking for dynamic person with a vibrant faith to direct and inspire our contemporary worship service, to lead our youth when they worship, and to help create the next contemporary service. This individual should express passion in leading others to connect with the Holy Spirit and have the talent necessary to develop several praise bands and lead singing from guitar or keyboard. He or she would be on cutting edge of music and technology to develop passionate worship experiences. This person would have a heart for youth and developing the next generation of worship leaders. He or she would have a heart for reaching outside the walls of the church in mission with their music.
Candidates should have at minimum of a bachelor's degree with several years experience leading contemporary worship and developing volunteer-based praise bands. In addition, candidates should demonstrate excellent instrumental and vocal musicianship, strong management skills and creative artistic discernment.
Faith United Methodist Church is in Indian Trail, NC. We are located in Union County which is one of the fastest growing counties in our nation. We are poised for tremendous growth.

Qualifications/skills and knowledge requirements: A strong, growing relationship with Jesus Christ Personal and moral integrity The ability to seamlessly lead multi-generational contemporary services Excellent instrumental and vocal musicianship A minimum of five years of worship leading experience Ongoing fluency in contemporary music and young adult culture Administrative gifting and organizational skill Diligence and creativity, with a true sense of vision Warm, enthusiastic, and relational personality, with the capacity to work well with teams Highly effective interpersonal skills Pastoral concern and an ability to mentor and nurture Christian discipleship
