Job Description:
Position Summary Bethalto Church of God, in the Illinois suburbs of St. Louis, is seeking a candidate to fill the full-time position of Children's Pastor to further develop and maintain a ministry of excellence and relevance to the families of children newborn through fifth grade that balances Spirit-filled worship, Christian formation, social interaction, missional opportunities, and pastoral care.
Specific Qualifications 1. Clear calling and giftedness to shepherd children and their families. 2. Children's ministry leadership experience. 3. Bachelor's degree in children / family ministry desirable. 4. Credentials with the Church of God or willingness to pursue licensure with the Church of God. 5. High levels of proficiency in leadership and organizational skills, interpersonal communication, computer applications, multitasking and time management.
