Director of Children, Youth , & Family Ministries
(Lay or Ordained)

St. Paul's, Centreville, Maryland, seeks a Part-Time (20 Hrs. per week), Director of Children Youth & Family Ministries to lead and administer our K-12 youth Christian formation programs. The primary responsibilities of this position include: providing comprehensive leadership of the program; designing classroom curriculum, lessons, and experiential learning activities; recruiting, coaching, training, and providing resource support for volunteer lay teachers; and performing program administrative activities as needed (i.e. developing budgets, maintaining program calendar, ordering supplies, fostering communication, etc). This position reports to the Rector of St Paul's.

Position requirements include: strong interpersonal and leadership skills; demonstrated program planning and administration skills; experience in directing Christian formation programs; and a proven
track record of successfully working with children and their parents in a collaborative fashion.

The ideal candidate would possess the following desired skills: Experience with existing Episcopal Curriculum (J2A, Godly Play). A passion for working with youth of all ages and knowledge of child
development.
