Job Description:
TITLE: Associate Director of Development
ORG. TYPE: Religious
LOCATION: New Jersey
SALARY: $70K - $75K
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Associate Director of Development will be responsible for assisting the Director of Development with the implementation and operation of the organization's fundraising efforts. S/he will provide fundraising support to parish capital campaigns and assist with the development of the Bishop's Annual Appeal. S/he will also create a capital campaign which will include educating donors on planned giving, conducting personal visits with prospects, determining gift capacity, and cultivating donor relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires 3+ years of experience conducting gift solicitation with a demonstrated record of achieving fund raising goals towards a capital campaign. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for building productive donor relationships. The candidate must be able to learn and execute planned giving practices and strategies. S/he must demonstrate a personal commitment to the Catholic faith.
