Worship Leader Main Goal: To provide spiritual leadership for MUMC's contemporary service through the gift of music and prayer, sharing the word of God and the news of Jesus Christ through the use of song, multimedia, visual and non-visual performances, to help the congregation and community understand and experience the love of Christ and develop a strong foundation in faith.
Key Result Area #1: Leadership and Visioning
Supporting Goal: To give overall leadership and vision to the children, youth, and families attending the contemporary service in alignment with the mission of Milton UMC.
Performance Standards:
A. Monthly work with the Pastor, and Worship, Family, Music and
Outreach Ministries in developing and refining the
contemporary service and then communicate with the
congregation.
B. Annually establish 3-5 key ministry goals that align with
vision and mission.
C. Develop and implement plans to achieve specific ministry
goals.
D. Oversee the Sunday morning (and/or weekday evening) music
ministry.
E. Will lead worship, praise, play, pray and sing for
Contemporary worship service.
F. Will develop media to be used during Contemporary worship
service.
E. Regularly pray for the ministry and volunteer servants for whom I am
responsible.
Key Result Area #2: Teamwork and Equipping
Supporting Goal: To recruit, equip, and empower effective ministry teams for Sunday morning and/or week nights – praise band – for services, special events, community outreach, etc.
Performance Standards:
A. In conjunction with the respective teams prayerfully recruit
praise band members, volunteers, and/or special music guests
for Sunday morning, week nights, and special events.
B. Provide regular rehearsals for music volunteer servants.
C. Work with other ministry areas to develop and grow a
coordinated music ministry as well as other event
programming.
D. Meet with respective ministries (Worship, Family, Outreach,
Music...) when appropriate to effectively communicate, plan,
coordinate and develop ministry plans.
E. Meet weekly/monthly with Pastor to pray, plan and coordinate.
Key Result Area #3: Special Events and Ministries
Supporting Goal: To develop special events and ministries which reach out to others and provide spiritual growth and positive community impact.
Performance Standards:
A. In conjunction with appropriate ministries may work with VBS
team, Children's Christmas and Easter programs or other
special events.

This is the debut album by EXW friend Paul Langford. Paul is a Chicago based singer, arranger, keyboardist, producer and conductor. Paul has a career that spans 14 years. Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
