Job Description:
Part-time Director of Youth Ministries: St. Stephen's United Methodist Church, in Burke, VA, (outside of Washington, DC), seeks an energetic, committed Christian to help youth (grades 7-12) grow in their faith. The youth ministries of St. Stephen's are designed to enhance spiritual growth, worship, service and fellowship opportunities for youth. Primary responsibilities for this 15 hour/week position include coordinating Sunday night youth fellowship and managing a team of active adult volunteers. This position reports directly to the Senior Pastor and is considered an integral part of the church staff. Candidates must have experience working with youth in a leadership role, including a demonstrated ability to relate well with teenagers. Salary commensurate with experience.
