Job Description:
Grace Baptist Church is a growing congregation with a blended music program, averaging over 900 in weekly attendance, focused on loving God and loving people. Located in Bowie, Maryland in the Washington, DC area, we proclaim Jesus crucified, risen and coming again! We are looking for a man with a heart for God and a passionate desire to connect people to God through worship. The primary responsibilities of the Worship Pastor include but are not limited to: leading congregational worship in the morning services, directing various choirs, vocal ensembles and worship teams and directing orchestral and instrumental ensembles. Interested parties should possess three or more years of previous experience in a similar ministry setting. Knowledge and/or experience in computers, audio engineering, lighting and media technology are a plus. Additionally, interested parties must have good administrative, leadership, and interpersonal skills. A bachelor's degree or higher in Music is required.
