CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP MUSIC COORDINATOR
Calvin Presbyterian Church in Tigard, Oregon seeks a Contemporary Worship Music Coordinator to be the primary administrator and music leader for its 11 am contemporary worship service. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Christian musician to influence the growth and popularity of a budding service!
The Coordinator will assist the Praise Team's vocalists and band in creating an inspirational worship experience using popular Christian rock music to attract new attendees ages 22-50. They will schedule and prepare components for pre-Sunday music rehearsals and Sunday services. Their goal is to help create a seamless flow between the worship music, prayer, sermon, multi-media and commentary. This position reports to the Senior Pastor.
Requirements: The Coordinator must be a competent rock-styled keyboardist or guitarist, knowledgeable in the Christian rock genre and have at least one year experience minimum in leading contemporary worship vocalists and musicians. Some preparation can be completed from home and during non-business hours. 10-12 hours per week; $150 per week. Desired start date is on or before March 1st. Submission deadline: February 16th.
