CHILDREN’S MINISTRY Coordinator
Metro Hope Church is a new multi-cultural church plant that seeks a children's ministry coordinator who has a creativity, passion and knowledge for children and families living within New York City. The children’s ministry coordinator is responsible for outreach and development of our emerging children’s ministry as well as the leading of a safe and effective program. The coordinator will train leaders who will creatively connect with children’s lives, demonstrate God’s love, and teach God’s Word.

Accountable to: Pastor Jose Humphreys
Ministry target: Children (ages 2 to 10)
Position is: Stipend Based
Position may be filled by: Church member; or would require someone who is willing to become a member of Metro Hope Church
Minimum maturity level: Stable, maturing Christian
Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Evangelism, Pastor/Shepherd,
Talents or abilities desired: understanding of the urban context, good organizational skills, ability to motivate people, good communicator and creative about community outreach
Length of service commitment: Two years minimum
ANTICIPATED TIME COMMITMENTS
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: four hours a week
2. Participating & facilitating meetings/training: one hour a week

Paul's work includes arranging for groups like GLAD, Voices of Liberty, VoiceTrek, The Chicago based "Caroling Party" and Day of Discovery Singers. His arranging has appeared on recordings side by side with greats like Gene Puerling and David Maddux, and he has sung with Don Shelton, Bonnie Herman and Bob Bowker, among others.
