Job Description:
The Worship Pastor shepherds the music ministries of CDOBC, exercising his gifts and talents to the glory of God and gives oversight to the "Front Door" ministry which includes visitor follow-up and integration of new people into the body. Facilitate and enhance the worship and praise of our precious Lord using Scripture as your guide Manage the music / worship resources of CDOBC (Budget, People, & Facilities) Keep informed on music methods, materials, promotions and administration Use as many people and their talents as feasible Promote a grateful heart of praise Recruit, develop and train a core of lay leadership Plan worship by working in partnership with the Senior Pastor Plan and execute seasonal productions glorifying Christ Give oversight and direction to the GLOW ministry and Youth Ministry music programs Oversight and training of sound and technical support volunteers Oversight to issues related to the sanctuary
Oversight of ushers and greeters – our "first contact" with new people Create a system to manage information / communication regarding new people Give leadership to the ‘Front Door' ministry and help recruit for this ministry Create positive ways to welcome visitors and inform them about CDOBC
